Lake Fork and Leghorn Road - Second Alarm for Maroa Fire

Warrensburg Fire was dispatched shortly after 11 P.M. tonight for a second alarm structure fire.  Crews initially arriving on scene found heavy fire conditions in an abandoned farm house. 

Warrensburg responded with two engines (E630 manned by Assistant Chief Lloyd Buckley, Captain Ken Smith, Captain Larry Landrus, and Firefighters Jarrod Krall, David Keith, and Adam Fletcher.  E633 made on water drop before returning to quarters as it was staffed by Lieutenant Larry Cass and EMS Officer Jack Pugh)

Warrensburg crews aided in a water shuttle as well as providing manpower for extinguishment.  Our crews were all back in quarters at 1:30 A.M.

Departments providing Maroa Fire with assistance on this alarm were:

Argenta - Oreana, Clinton, Kenny, Hickory Point, Warrensburg at the scene of the alarm while Latham Fire covered Maroa's quarters.  Decatur Ambulance stood by with one advanced life support unit on scene as well.
